History of The Blue Ball Inn

Welcome to the Historic Blue Ball Inn, once known as Littler’s Tavern.

The Tavern was originally constructed by John and Mary Littler, two Quakers who

relocated to Winchester, Virginia from Pennsylvania. The Littlers and their extended families had a huge impact on Winchester and the surrounding area, and much of the property near the Inn belonged to the Littlers at one time.
